The Christiansburg Junior Varsity football squad dominated the Cave Spring Knights 33-0 Thursday night at Dwight Bogle Stadium in Roanoke improving their record to 8-0 with one game left.

The CHS Junior Varsity football program is undefeated and going for win number eight tonight at Cave Spring. The young Blue Demons travel down to Dwight Bogle Stadium in Roanoke to face the Knights.

Christiansburg Head Football Coach Tim Cromer can't remember when a JV ball team went undefeated at C'burg for a season. There is one more game after this one. Game time is 6pm.

The Blue Demon Junior Varsity football team posted victory number six last night beating Hidden Valley 48-0. The JV squad remains undefeated including a come from behind win over Salem a week ago. The team has Pulaski County and Blacksburg left to play.

Christiansburg, Va.- Christiansburg' senior placekicker Brad Cox booted two field goal and two extra points that proved to be the decisive points in a close battle between cross-town rival Radford to edge the Bobcats by a 20-13 score.

Greg Lee paced the running attack for the Blue Demons with 108 yards on the ground, including a first quarter TD run of 70 yards. Christiansburg recorded its most balanced offense of the year as they rushed for 217 yards and threw for 137.

Dontae Carter, the Bobcats outstanding signal caller, threw for 128 yards. The Bobcats suffered their first loss of the season, dropping their mark to 4-1. The Blue Demons' win was their final regular season non-district win and advanced their season record to 4-1.
