Brownsburg, Indiana- Don Schumacher announced that IHRA and Pro Mod racer Matt Hagan will drive a Dodge Charger Funny Car sponsored by BrakeSafe Rear-End Collision Avoidance System in the 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series for Don Schumacher Racing.
BrakeSafe Rear-End Collision Avoidance System will be a primary sponsor, with a co-primary sponsor to be named later. The associate sponsors include NAPA AUTO PARTS, Mail Terminal Services, Matco Tools, Valvoline, U. S. Army and FRAM. Tommy DeLago will move over from DSR's Valvoline/Mail Terminal Services Funny Car team to take on the crew chief duties. |

Goodview, Virginia's Bryan Loggins captured the first place prize Friday night in the Torco Mach Accelerator Tuner Class at Motor Mile Dragway. Loggins posted an 8.6301-second scoot at 93.61 miles per hour. Justin Basham of Princeton, West Virginia, placed second while Christiansburg's Sean Young and Princeton's Perry Figle reached the semis. Torco Mach Accelerator Tuner Cars Charles Mullins of Princeton, WVa captured first place this past weekend in the Tuner Class at MMD posting a 7.9310-second scoot down the eighth of mile track at 88.44 miles per hour. Mullins defeated Perry Figle of Princeton, WVa who made a 8.0629-second pass at 88.37 miles per hour. Chris Burton of Christiansburg finished in third place. |

White Sulpher Springs, WVa. native T.W. Bittenger knocked down another win at Motor Mile Dragway Saturday night defeating Andy Snyder of Covington in the Super Pro Division. Bittenger posted a 5.4886-second scoot down the eighth of mile track at 124.65 miles per hour while Snyder posted a 4.8549-second pass at 139.41 miles per hour. Both drivers competed in rail cars |
