Blacksburg rallied twice on Saturday to beat Salem 11-6 and claim its first-ever Dixie Youth Minor League State Championship at the Moyer Sports Complex in Salem.

Blacksburg and Salem finally got to play after two days of rain delay at Salem’s Moyer Field. However, the outcome was not good for the Blacksburg team, as they fell 5-3 in the Dixie State AAA semifinals Thursday afternoon.
