The Auburn Eagles volleyball team made a lot of noise this season but fell short Friday night losing in the state semi-finals to the Blue Devils of Gate City 3-2 in the Seigel Center on the campus of VCU. Auburn captured the Region C title earlier in the week. Congratulations to coach Sherry Milirons, her staff and the players for a great year! |

The Auburn Eagles Volleyball team will have the opportunity of a lifetime as they take on the Blue Devils of Gate City in the state semi-finals tonight in the Seigel Center on the campus of VCU in Richmond. Game time is 7pm. Auburn defeated John Battle Tuesday night 3-0 while Gate City knocked off Glenvar 3-2. |

The Auburn Eagles volleyball team defeated John Battle in three games (25-18, 25-12 and 25-14) Tuesday night allowing the team to advance to the state semifinals in Richmond. Gate City defeated Glenvar 3-2 pitting the Blue Devils and the Eagles in a contest this Friday night on the campus of VCU in the Siegel Center at 7pm. . |

Saturday afternoon the Auburn Eagles volleyball team defeated Glenvar to capture the Region C Volleyball Championship. Auburn, 23-2 on the season, will host Region D runner-up John Battle this Tuesday in the state quarterfinals while Glenvar, the runner-up, travels to Gate City. |

Auburn defeated Bath County 3-1 in the first round of the Region C volleyball tournament. The Eagles advance to the semis to face the George Wythe Maroons at 12:30pm Saturday afternoon at the GW gymnasium. GW defeated Galax in straight sets. Other scores.............. |
