Dixie League girls fall to Dinwiddie 6-0 Trailing by just one run in the fourth inning, the Blacksburg Dixie League Girls -Ponytail Division- team gave up five more runs in the last two innings losing to Dinwiddie 6-0 in the finals of the Dixie.... Youth League Softball State Championship. To win the title, the girls needed to beat Dinwiddie twice since it is a double elimnination tourney and Dinwiddie had not lost. It was a very successful season as the girls finished second in the state. Note: NRVSports.com would like to thank the Potts family for the information and the pictures.
