Radford, Va. – Virginia’s 70th Governor Tim Kaine, took time out of his busy schedule Friday afternoon to visit Radford University and spend time with members of the Highlander men’s basketball team and head coach Brad Greenberg.

"Governor Kaine likes to meet students when he visits campuses and it was great for Joey, Eric and Lax to meet a great leader," commented Coach Greenberg, who is entering his second season at the helm of the Highlanders. "President Kyle was gracious to allow us to be part of the Governors' visit to Radford."

Following his time on the Radford University campus, Governor Kaine threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Pulaski Mariners’ baseball game against the Burlington Royals at nearby Calfee Park.
