The NRV SuperBowl is now planning to begin their very successful Fall bowling season. Wednesday Leagues, always one of the most popular days for the local center, will begin play on August 13th. The summer sessions are winding down with roll-offs looming soon

The Tuesday Summer Open League for Week #12 saw some outstanding indivdual performances. High individual games were recorded by David Yarbrough with a 280, Mark McGhee with a 265 , Duane Cameron with a 257, which was matched by John Wren. Wes Lowe had high series with a 796 "scratch" series, narrowly missing that "seldom seem" 800 series. Mark McGhee 768 series finished in second place for the night and was followed by Rick McClanin's 659 series.

The ladies also had a good evening of competition paced by April Reed with a 211 game. Pricilla Creasy had the high series with a 560 set, which was built around her 203 individual game. Barbara Cameron and Judy Dowdy bowled individual high marks of 211 and 203 respectively.

The Summer No-Tap League (Week # 13) also witnessed some notable acheivements. Vinnie Sola's 286 game and 725 series led the pack, while Troy Hurst followed with a 268 game and 698 series. Trevor Lyon had an individual game of 266 and Curtis Vaught narrowly missed joining the "700 club" with a 694 series.

Pam Sola's 244 game and 619 series was the tendsetter for the evening for the ladies. Anita Haley and Leigh Walker also left the center with outstanding performances with a 243 game and 587 series and 221 game and 607 series respectively
