High school football in the area is geared for the biggest weekend of the season to date. There are some specific items to look for:  Will Pulaski County use Nubian Peak more than they did in their first game? Do they have the best defense in the area? Floyd County comes back after a superlative performance from their quarterback. Christiansburg faces a Giles team with new Coach Jeff Williams looking for his first win as head coach. Does Christiansburg have their own version of the "Three Amigos"-where in their first game they all exceeded the one hundred yard mark. It should be a battle of two strong running teams. Blacksburg surprised many with a strong effort against Giles. The team surprised many pundits. Will Trey Gresh continue to establish himself as one of the leading candidates for post season honors? Radford tries to make it two wins in a row. The following are the NRV games of the week.
