The New River Valley Fall Baseball League has six games scheduled this week. The action begins tonight and will have games on Thursday and Saturday.

The Blacksburg Red team will travel to Hodge Field in Radford to face the Radford squad for a 5:30 contest.

Thursday action will have a doubleheader at Harkrader Sports Complex in Christiansburg. The first game, which begins at 5:30pm will be the Dublin Cubs against Christiansburg Gold. That game will be followed by a 7:30 tilt betweeen Blacksburg Blue and Chrisitansburg Navy.

The week's games conclude on Saturday with a trio of contests across the New River Valley. At 10am, Radford will travel to play the Dublin Cubs at Randolph Park in Dublin. At the same time, Christiansburg Navy will face Montgomery County at Plum Creek. Kipps Field in Blacksburg will be the site for the week's final game between Christiansburg Gold and Blacksburg Grey for a 12 noon start.

The public is invited to attend the games. A few differences from games of older children exist for this age group (9/10). They must use 4 outfielders. All players must play 2 innings in the field Every player must bat at least once in the game. NRV Sports invites you to come out and enjoy the "love of the game' as demonstrated by these games.
