Christiansburg’s Navy Senior League football team improved their record to to 6-0 on the season with a 27-0 victory over Radford on Monday night at Christiansburg High School . Fullback Gabe Quesenberry got the home team on the board early with a 15 yard run. A point after run by Jake Hamley made the score 7-0. Christiansburg scored again on their next possession when Cantley Krafft broke free over the right tackle for the score. The point after was good when MacKenzie Muldoon hit Kyle Hamley with a pass in the end zone to make the score 14-0. Radford threatened to score late in the half with a first and goal at the two yard line but turned the ball over on downs with less than a minute to go in the half. Jake Hamley and Kyle Dulaney would add rushing touchdowns in the second half along with a Muldoon to Krafft point after completion to round out the scoring. Seth Wills paced Christiansburg’s defense with two sacks and three tackles for losses as the Demons recorded their third shutout of the season. Christiansburg's next game will be against the Blacksburg Bruins on Wednesday evening at Christiansburg High School . |
