George Perkovich and Courtney Ellenbogen led Blacksburg to its third
straight Group AA golf championship today at Old Trail Golf Course in
Crozet.

Perkovich tied for second and was in a playoff. Ellenbogen finished fourth.

Mikey Moyers of William Monroe won the individual title with a two-round
total of 127, breaking the state record which had been held since 1968.
Moyers has committed to play in college at Virginia Tech.

Western Albemarle finished second in the team competition.

In the Group A tournament in Bristol, Galax won the team title.
