1st Quarter:

8:00 - No score. Floyd began with a good field position thanks to a Chandler Jones kick return, but penalties created a 3rd and 30 and forced the Buffs to punt. At 8:13, Lebanon fumbled and Floyd's Ethan Griffith recovered on the 44 yard line.

4:00 - Still no score. At 6:02, Cole Peters' punt gave Lebanon the ball on their 1 yard line. They punted to Floyd with 4:02 left in the 1st.

1:45: A Luke Harris bootleg gained 19 yards down to the Buffalo 21 with 3:47 to go. A 15 yard run from Harris scored the first points for Floyd, then limped off the field after the play.

End of 1st: Lebanon got nothing in a quick 3 & out. Harris did not play defense, but came back out to quarterback the Buffaloes through the end of the quarter.

2nd Quarter:

8:00: Harris converted a 4th & 2 with 10:32 left in the first, and then a 4th & 1 with 8:00 left. While he is back in the game, he does not seem as mobile.

4:00: Floyd's drive continued through the air thanks to a catch by Christian Rodrigue and then a pass interference penalty. A hold brought up a 3rd and goal from the 20, when Mick Bush picked off a pass in the end zone. Still, the Pioneers had trouble moving the ball, and punted to Floyd with 3:52 to go.

End of Half: Harris came out of the game with 2:40 to go, and Coach Beale sent in Freshman QB Matt Hollandsworth to replace him. Hollandsworth completed both his passes and ran for 6, but it wasn't enough to convert a 4th and 3. Lebanon had the ball with a minute and change to go, but could not score before the end of the half.

3rd Quarter:

8:00 :  Harris started only on offense in the second half. Lebanon got one of few first downs thanks to a roughing the passer penalty on 3rd and 17. Soon after, Daniel Bradford picked off a pass and returned it to the Lebanon 33. With 9:25 left, a buffalo fumble gave Lebanon the ball on their on 36, and with 7:48 left in the 3rd, the Pioneers' hurry-up offense had moved the ball to the Floyd 33.

4:00:  Lebanon continued its aerial assault, which got the ball into the red zone with 6:00 to play. Floyd continued to have trouble on defense, and allowed a touchdown that tied the game with 3:53 left.

2:19:  During the kick return, Jones coughed up the ball, giving Lebanon the ball inside the Buff 40. Harris came back out at safety for the Buffaloes. QB Terrell Lee ran more than 40 yards on the way to another Lebanon touchdown with 2:19 left. The extra point was missed, and the score was 13-7 Lebanon.

End of 3rd: Daniel Bradford returned the kickoff to the 40, where Harris' passing game got Floyd inside the Lebanon 30 at the end of the 3rd.

4th Quarter:

8:00:  Floyd continued to pass and got inside the 20, but couldn't convert a 4th down on a razzle-dazzle WR Reverse pass. Lebanon took over at their own 20, and converted a 4th and inches by a nose. At 8:00 left, Lebanon had a 3rd & 9 on their 30.

4:00:  Soon after, Lebanon punted, and Christian Rodrigue had a nice punt return to the Lebanon 40 with 6:51 left. On 2nd & 10, Harris was sacked for a 15 yard loss. Floyd punted then on 4th & 16, and the Pioneers had the ball at their 11 with 5:44 left. Lebanon got 2 first downs, and had the ball at the 35 with 3:00 left.

0:06:  When the Pioneers broke a 63 yard run, it looked like it was all over, but Matt Link recovered a fumble with 1:38 left to play on their own 17. Harris' fierst pass was picked, but a pass interference penalty gave them 15 free yards. A long pass was complete to Holman at the Lebanon 48. With 1:07 left to play, Harris was sacked and the Buffaloes had a 4th & 25 from their 40. Ethan Griffith caught a pass for a 1st down with less than a minute to play. On the 24, Floyd had a 2nd & 10 with.just over 20 seconds to play, when Holman caught a pass at the 9. To top it all off, Rodrigue caught a touchdown pass with 6 seconds to go that tied it up at 13. Buffalo fans held their breath at the sight of 2 flags on the field, and went insane after learning the penalties were both on Lebanon. Nathan Weiss then made the most consequential extra point of his life with 6 seconds left to go.

End of Game:  The kickoff was every bit as interesting as the previous drive. The Pioneers tried the famous Cal-Stanford "Band Play" on the eturn, but all of the laterals ended up doing nothing when Floyd fell on a fumble. When all was said and done, the Buffaloes had once again found a new way to somehow come away with the win 14-13!
